Seen the first muskrat house of the fall while fishing the Mississippi backwaters. Early for them.

Rabbits ate the early summer green beans into the ground in the garden. Got too busy and fall beans went in late. Not sure I have enough time for them to make. I have tomatoes and peppers coming out my ears, but haven’t put up a single quart of beans

Right now, soy beans are shy of filling the pods on a friends farm. It was too dry for 8-9 weeks this spring.

Then got all kinds of rain. 6 Inches in one week. A strange summer to say the least.

We already have had a couple of frosts. And some 41 degree mornings.

An early winter this year I beleive.
