She’s visiting the grandkids for a few weeks in the twin cities just me and the hound now. So it’s vacation time and I thought time would fly but nope just early and bored now. I had to start hassling the dog because I don’t want to lose my edge she can smell weakness so I stay sharp. Thought about doing the laundry, dishes and running the vacuum but if I did that she might feel unneeded when she gets home if I did that. I’ll just let the dishes pile up so she knows I appreciate her why take that away from her I say guess I’m just a giver to a fault.

There’s an Andy Griffith episode about that very thing. People need to feel needed. Yep I remember that show they had to mess up the place before she sees that they cleaned up who says you don’t learn much from watching TV.

I'd have it cleaned to the max, spotless. When got she home to see what she says. I would never leave it a mess for my women, and it always makes her happy to see it not a mess, so she has more work to do.
Just tell her you had your girlfriend over and she cleaned it up.

If you really want to be THE MAN, Law Dog, buy her a brand new ironing board for a welcome home gift! You can thank me later. If you really want to impress her make the ironing board yourself. An old coyote stetcher works good, only need to add some folding legs.
