Wanna Be trapper W Joined: May 2018 SW Georgia	Blackened redfish is the ultimate meal! Great catch! Think the Florida limit on the Gulf side is 18-27” and 2 per person. We’ve had a few trips we couldn’t catch a keeper…all were over 27”! That’s a FUN trip, lol!!! Redfish fight like a smallmouth on steroids, because to me smallmouth make largemouth seem like wusses.

JoMiBru trapper J Joined: Jan 2007 Snow Hill, MD	Favorite recipe for those slot size fish is on the half shell Fillet them, scales on. Get the grill hot, lay scale side down. Brush the flesh side with a mixture of melted butter, sweet tai chili and chef Paul’s redfish magic. The meat will start to crack open, keep basting with the sauce. Serve hot, dang good and easy. Love this Fall time of the year!
