I told her next time at least climb up close enough to get a good picture of its head. She text me back the middle finger lol. They say we have massauga and timber rattlers here but I’ve never seen one. We do seem to have an abundance of bull snakes and garder snakes and although I’ve never seen one my wife saw an eastern hog nose and she said it put on quite a show.

I hope that all these snakes are dead!!!

Yes they are moving my uncle killed two rattlesnakes in his front yard last week.Friend found five in his well house the other day. One was found at local steak house in flower garden.

I have a few older pictures of some snakes caught in the local area.
Picking black berries: I was checking to see if there were any blackberries just outside of my back yard. I glance down by my foot and noticed an Eastern Diamondback about two inches from my toe. It didn't rattle ,or attempt to bite. The other pictures in the series are all the same snake, but not in sequential order.

And you standing there with the wrong gun in your hands!

I was wearing flip flops last weekend, standing in the middle of my very overgrown tomato patch watering maters. Moved a branch out of the way with the wand of my hose and about 1' away from me was a baby copperhead. He looked at me and hissed. I don't remember jumping but next thing I knew I was on the other side of the fence. Went back to get the gun, but never could find him again.

Good thing there are not rattlers in Pa......jk
