I like kids groups about that size. They are more attentive and ask more questions than a classroom sized group.

I still remember my trappers education class and the men that taught it fondly.

The art of trapping is only gong to continue to survive if the current generation promotes their love of trapping . If we claim to enjoy trapping as much as we say we do but do noy share it with non tappers than the sport will die when we do .New and young trappers are not our completion. They are our future . II can say with out a doubt the passing on of the things we enjoy can results in the most satisficing experience anyone could ever experience in your life Congrats and thanks for your effort ..

It’s a job keeping them off their phones and engaging in the topic but I like to mess with the problem ones in a good way so the know I’m watching them and they like a little attention. If you come at them hard they might shut down. Everyone has a skunk story one starts the rest have an encounter with them it’s interesting.

Like your commitment to our sport Cuz you do us proud.

They sell jammer's you flip on and reception drops all around you. Different distances depending non model and price. If I were in public more I would have one.

I had a Boy Scout troop who wanted me to give a trapping presentation. I knew several of them from Cub Scouts when I was an assistant den leader.
I didn't bring any traps. I brought a 45 pound beaver and a knife and means to sharpen said knife, and proceed to show them how to clean skin a beaver. I wanted to make sure that I weeded out the wannabes.
They absolutely loved it. We were in the back room of the church on a fold-up table.
They were fascinated when I showed them what they comb their hair with, what they oiled their fur with, and what they marked their fire hydrants with, and what they cut down trees with.
I gave each one of them their own pelt to take home. I had skinned and dried a kit beaver prior, cut out ovals about twice the size of a silver dollar and cut out leg holes with a paper punch. I'll bet some of them still have them.

Well done Roy. We need more willing to help pass it along. Trail Blazers is a great way as well.
