Neighbor sent me these pics a few days ago. Seems we have a cat hanging around. Hope he sticks around long enough for me to have a chance at him.

On the prowl. It appears it may have seen or heard the trail cam getting his photo in that last picture.

I would say the top one is a "she" cat, carrying dinner home to kittens.

I’ve been getting a bobcat on my trail cam since the Spring. I’ve hunted there for thirty years and have never seen one in person. [Linked Image]

I find those thing very frustrating to trap compared to coyotes but it's sure fun when you make it happen

I’ve never trapped for cats. Is a dirt hole set typically effective?

I've never really went after cats real hard and only have one under my belt. But lately locals have been seeing some on their trail cameras and with fur prices in the tank I figured now would be the time to try my hand even if there's not alot of cats around here. We are allowed 5 but would he happy with one!

Many a cat has fallen to a dirt hole from what I've seen. Our season is late and by the time it rolls around our ground is harder than Chinese algebra making dirt holes difficult to make. I plan on using a blind sets and coni boxes.
