Im originally from eastern Ukraine, but depends on which uncle I ask and what time frame I look at. Some relatives say our great grand father came from Russia. The region my past goes back to changed hand a handful of times over a 600 years. In the end, I’m Canadian, and so is my “Mexican” neighbour who was born up here.
