A friend had asked if I could “mount” a coyote hide for him. I wasn’t sure what he was talking about until he showed me a beaver pelt strung between a hoop made of willow branches with sinew. My wheels began to turn and the creative side produced the monstrosity pictures below. I’m posting it this for two reasons.

1. Seeking input on the end result?
2. Any idea on a better way to display a nice yote coat?

Just wood, (artificial) sinew, fur and feathers. The fur on the sides is a bit of red Fox that I had laying around. The fur had been ruined except the back. Figured this would be a nice way to honor the animal that gave me his back.

That would be cool. See how the idea can morph and improve.

The Willow beaches are not easy to bow and take the crooks out.

You sure have a good eye for detail and symmetry. I really like what you have done. I have never seen anything quite like that. Great work.
