in .45 colt...leftlane? Anybody?

I used to in 454 Casul and liked them before I started reloading that round myself

so Dave p and scuba....which buffalo bore loads were u shooting and in what weapons?

For the 454 C it was a 300 grain flat lead nose on a full house load of what looked like H110 and H110 is what i used for my hand loads as well.

We're either 300 or 325gr flat.
Also had some 250 or 260 JHPs.

Now, I mostly shoot lead, slower.

What weapon were u ahooting them in?

One of my.brothers used to.shoot the hot Garrett loads on his Redhawk, but that was .44

They do.make some hot .45 LC as well, pretty wide selection, but turns money into recoil and noise pretty fast, lol.

I bought some of the buffalo bore 325gr hard cast 45lc for the to trying my Henry rifle. The 325gr load is longer than spec and won't cycle from the tube to the chamber. The load if too stout to comfortly shoot in my ruger Vaqquerro (pre 95).
I've killed many deer with both the rifle and the revolver shooting "cowboy loads" in the rifle and Win Silvertip in the revolver.

They have another lighter load and im wondering about those also.
