I grew up at Pawnee City NE where the Pawnee Indians lived. It has been a treasure of artifacts over the years. My brother sold a piece for $20 when he was young that haunts him yet today.

Had dozens in a shoebox as a kid. Think mom probably threw them out with the baseball cards.

I found a copper arrowhead with my metal detector some years ago. I didn't think it could be real until I was told back then Indians did actually make some from copper because it was so malleable.
I found it in a local lake.

I didn't know that obsidian arrowheads were found in Pennsylvania. Those look more like Western points.

That late woodland/Mississippian side notch point has me scratching my head a bit also. Very unusual from that area as far as I know, and those incomplete flake scars are normally not common on ancient points found on the surface because freezing action of moisture pops them off. That said they do happen - I once saw a point come from just the bottom of the plow zone on a phase 2 CRM dig in southern indiana. Definitely an artifact, and probably ten or more pickers still on it. It was high quality Wyandotte chert so the pickers were easy to see.
Not saying that side notch wasn’t found in PA, but it would be unusual from what I know.

I want to know more about that yellowish tooth in the picture. Does it have a hollow base?
