https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR7AoHde/Is this attorney right? I don't know how to post the video so here is the link to it. Sounfs like he knows what he's talking about. I've heard other lawyers say the case is solid and nothing wrong with how these charges are being handed. Is there that much variance in the law now days? Hmmm Ol dad

I'm not a lawyer, but once Trump gets clear of this, his next step should be to go after prosecutor and judge for malicious prosecution. Sue the both of them into oblivion. Every cent the own or will ever own.

Payback is a dish best served cold. Prosecutors and judges are typically immune from civil torts so thats not going to happen

I'm not so sure you are correct about that statement. They can be sued just like any other person, and they aren't above the law.

I couldn't get the video to play. What does he say, in a nutshell?
I have to agree with Midlander. Unless there is actual corruption or other misconduct.

Yes this is what I'm saying also, if corruption is proven they are subject to be sued like any other person.

If the NY fraud case against Trump doesn't meet these tests.....nothing does. If I'm on the jury, firewall of prosecutorial immunity blown thru with ease. https://www.forbes.com/advisor/legal/personal-injury/malicious-prosecution/Remember AG campaigned on promise to get Trumpy. He is a political target (who else has state of NY prosecuted on same claim?) and there was no crime and no victim. Banks required to do their own analysis and appraisals, made loans based on same and got paid off in full. Judge is no better. He has made the mistake of offering his own opinion of value of Trump RE holdings and it was both way off and had no valid basis. He would be in a world of hurt too. Only firewall those two have left is they are in NY. They may be safe in NY.

Watched it. Wayne's World Lawyer does not know what he's talking about.
Trump had a chance to oppose summary judgment with evidence. He also asked the Court for summary judgment in his favor.
By the way, Trump didn't request a jury trial. He asked for a bench trial where the Judge rules.
He's getting it now on the remaining claims. I'm no lawyer and not very up on court works but from what I have read and heard, a jury trial was not even an option. Neither Trump nor the State could request a jury trial the way in which this prosecution was set up.

I've never directly had a case in New York, but I've litigated in 10-15 other states and this "not even an option" excuse is fiction. Trump needs better lawyers. Not some good looking gal he met at the golf club.

There is a form of insurance called Errors and Omissions. Not sure if this protects prosecutors.
Fraud is still a crime. Who did Trump commit fraud on?

The left has no issue with doing away with qualified immunity for police officers so it seems reasonable to do the same for judges and lawyers.

The problem with Trump is he needs to learn to keep his mouth shut and let his attorneys do the talking for him.
