The United States had almost 9,000 pilots join the Royal Canadian Air Force and went to defend England during the Blitz in WWII, 10% of them KIA. Google "The Bomber Command Museum of Canada". Billy Bishop appealed to American pilots to join the RCAF and thousands answered the call. These pilots eventually formed the nucleus of the U.S. Eighth Air Force and 26,000 of them were KIA. The Eighth Air Force sustained 50% of the injuries during WW2. So, why are we bashing each other?

in World War I's European squabbles if it didn't involve us ?

We weren't subjects of the Queen &
part of the British Commonwealth like Canada.

The World War I dough boys of the AEF arrived
just in time to save you Canadians and Limeys
from a total arse whooping by the Huns.

United States was also quick to defend the Aussies & the Kiwis
when the Japs threatened to over run Australia & New Zealand
in May 1942 at the Coral Sea, and again in August 1942 at
Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands.

Otherwise those members of the British Commonwealth
would still be jabbering in Japanese to this day.

I don't recall any Canadians coming to defend the South Pacific
and the honor of king & country.

The United States is tired of defending

Boco's revisionist Canadian history can be refuted. The Canadians were bit players, a sideshow in the War of 1812.

That war was fought to a military draw between the US and Britain, mainly because Britain was occupied in Europe.

But the US achieved its strategic objectives of being recognized as a sovereign power and halting the kidnapping of American seamen to serve on British vessels. The Canadians won nothing except continued domination by Britain.
