X2 on either of those two. Gaetz and his bunch wanted Scalise all along. Only problem with Scalise is he is fighting cancer.
Could be Jordan (as near as I can tell he does not want the job). Won't be Trump (who apparently had a pretty big win today in his NY fraud case).
As for decreased federal spending, how did what happen yesterday and the subsequent one week vacation decrease federal spending? It just created chaos for the sake of chaos and Newsmax appearances.

Big Win was a report on MSN that something like 80% of the "evidence" being used in Trump fraud case happened prior to 2014 and statue of limitations had run out and was ruled inadmissible evidence. So no case left. Waiting to see if that was one of those breathless moments by some reporter rushing to be first with a story that may or may not have legs. Guess we will know more by end of day when the talking heads sort it out.

However, under current conditions, campaigning from the podium every day, squeezing budgets from the Dems, and a lot of other powers that I don't fully understand, should make that a much more attractive position.

Why would the NYDA use a law that has never been used that specifically does NOT allow for a jury. To be more clear, Trump is on trial in a democrat state with a democrat governor a democrat ag and a democrat liberal judge presiding over the case. Does it pass the smell test that President Trump would be indicted on a charge that SPECIFICALLY does not allow use of a jury?
I thought you lawyers liked justice? LOL!!!!!
