Yesterday pretty much guaranteed that Republicans lose the house in 2024. Presidency is already lost unless someone other than Trump wins the nomination. I haven't read about it lately, but we're probably going to lose the senate too.

No way, It may be a power struggle but it is a Republican power struggle. Byron Donalds or Steve Scalise is my guess.

X2 on either of those two. Gaetz and his bunch wanted Scalise all along. Only problem with Scalise is he is fighting cancer.

Could be Jordan (as near as I can tell he does not want the job). Won't be Trump (who apparently had a pretty big win today in his NY fraud case).

I like Jim Jordan. He was born in and represents Champaign County, Ohio, where I live. He is a little, but tough guy. He was a frequent champion wrestler and just missed going to the Olympics. Anyone who succeeds that well in wrestling is driven and a hard worker. My youngest brother knows Jim and likes him. I've thought he would make a decent VP for President Trump. Jordan has been a strong supporter of President Trump.
