Is there a supplier with trap dogs to fit old square jar Victor #2 coil springs? planning to call Sterling, but is there another to try? Also have an old BL #2 LS I need springs for.

I’d say most dogs could be made to work off several size traps the problem with trap parts is if you need more then 2 parts the traps ain’t worth fixing a guy need a pile of junk traps to get parts from to make repairs doable. Obviously you need a longer dog to cut down making on longer is not practical.

Bent nail, hammered flat at the contact point with the pan notch has worked for me for years when I could not find a commercial trap dog.......................... the mike

So I went to auto scrapyard. Found a bracket with same metal thickness. Cut material to width. Made up bending jig from materials on hand and bent some up. Then installed.

Only place I could find spring for my victor #2 double long springs was sterlings there 3.25 each. I'm still waiting to order buy the time I add the springs chain swivels and dogs it almost the price of a new duke so I'm on the fence. Let me know if you find another place that has some.

Can probably get a bridger 2 dog to fit.
