Boco, are you planning a moose hunt too ?

No,Sharon, I am usually busy enough on the trapline this time of year,and since I am an elder I get lots of moose meat from family nowadays.
And I cant be bothered with applying for the draw tag.

Thanks for saving a moose for me Boco I will up hunting starting Friday

I see several moose on the line each year when trapping and at other times of the year in the bush.Sometimes have to chase them off the bike trail,they can be stubborn sometimes.

I understand that . Thats really a nice situation for you.

I too stand guard over some hunters who get elk , they need a guard in case grizzlies come to the site as they are quartering and packing up the elk . When they get one, they contact me, I go to where they are and find a nice place to oversee them and the surrounding area. With my 300 mag Weatherby. For that, I get a bit of nice elk meat , all cut and ready to cook .

I like my job with them .
