They're only allowing non Israelis to.handle support roles right now.
Besides, we' ll be fighting here sooner or later anyway Not the point, if that's what you believe is the right thing to do A non Israeli doing the job of an Israeli gives them more manpower

I am a saved Gentile and know without a shadow of a doubt that Israel was, is, and will be Gods chosen people. I will pray for the peace of Jerusalem as the Bible calls for. I will reap the benefits of our nation as we historically have served God. I will suffer His judgements for sin of myself and our nation but yet still knowing I am right with God and personally forgiven.. I will continue to pray that God opens Dannys eyes so he can see and opens his ears so that he may hear God speak to him. I will pray that God gives our nation God fearing leaders who know how to humble themselves and serve the Lord. I will never vote for anyone who believes it is ok to murder the unborn.
Some of you may be strong enough to get on a plane and fly to Israel and fight for them - of that I thank you - I would ask you though - are you courageous enough to walk across the street and share the gospel with your friends and neighbors? How about sharing the gospel with a Jew? Little off track here, but who are you going to vote for if you want God fearing leaders?

Buzzard, just because I think you're a blowhard doesn't mean I should call you a blowhard. I should probably refrain from calling you a blowhard even if I think you're a blowhard.
I haven't polled anyone here on their feelings about what happened is Israel but I'm fairly confident there are many here who can empathize with those people and share my thinking.
We'll see where things go.

I would go there, fight and die with those people if they would let me. have you called their embassy? Don't call the American Embassy in Isreal. I was kicked out of it in the early 90's in Tel Aviv. Good thing the Don moved it to Jersuleum like it was supposed to be. Isreal has one of the biggest/strongest forces in the world. I don't believe the rest of the world will be able to accept what the Isreali's can/are going to do to Hamas......

Does Israel allow its citizens to own firearms? I haven't followed the attack very closely. But the the few videos I saw, the terrorists were killing families with noone shooting back Firearm ownership in Israel is about seven guns per (100) people, for comparison there are (122) guns per 100 people in the U.S.A. Israelis are NOW buying guns a record pace, legal and otherwise. The problem seems to be ammunition, in Israel you are only allowed to own (50) bullets. David whooped a big guy with a sling shot and stone???

GOD has his chosen people yes, but through his love and grace he sent his son to be humiliated, beat, and painfully put to death to pay the price for our sin that we could not. We did not deserve or earn that gift . But all we have to do to accept that gift is repent of our sin and accept Christ Jesus as our savior that he died and rose from the dead. Yes he even loves you that much and is hoping you take the offer.

Jim I am not a believer of that, but I would think that just believing you are loved by God, at any level, would make you feel pretty awesome. You would likely not feel so miserably bitter, if you thought God loved you, like they feel God loves them. Keith

The OT supports that notion, but Jesus and the creation of Christ's Church changed things. God's salvation was extended to all human beings who accepted Jesus as their Savior--including people the Jews slaughtered at God's urging in the OT. And that's the Christian faith as I was raised to believe. I don't believe God plays favorites. If He exists, he loves all humans equally. When I see things happen like in Israel, I wonder if He hates all of us equally. Jim

Jim No James - it really is extremely refreshing to know that I have been forgiven of my sins and Jesus loves me. No where did I say God loves other people more than myself. I said Israel is Gods chosen people. See many of them have rejected Jesus as Messiah yet they are still chosen. I on the other hand, as a Gentile, have been grafted in and am covered by the blood of the Lamb. What really sucks is those that poke fun of Christ and reject Him. What is hard to comprehend is that God loves all sinners just as much as those forgiven......to me, yes, that is still a bit hard to comprehend but I believe even in my unbelief.
