I started using a recurve this season and finally got to go out for the first time last night. When I got to the stand last night I got settled in and thought I'd better check for movement with the bow. Well when I tried practice draw the bow hit the stand. I decided to go ahead and sit it out just to see if anything came through. Wasn't going to shoot first thing that showed up. What I am after here is some recommendations on stands to look at that give good range of motion. Thanks

Best advice is spot them out a ways and stand up!! If you have a rail in front, I have no suggestions!

I don’t hunt out of stands much but i do know this. Hang on stands with no rail are the way to go. Harness required. If you have a climber set the rail high. It makes for a weird configuration with the seat, but having it high gets it out of the way of the limbs so you can angle down. I don’t go higher than 12’ mostly 10’ish. My Summit has the ability to lower the seat via straps.
