You may remember my granddaughter who almost died about Halloween last year. She was in Mayo for 10 weeks and was not expected to live.

By God's grace, she is alive and well. She's gaining weight and eating a lot. She has a large scar across her middle from hip to hip and she has constant diarrhea which they are managing with an Imodium product daily. She may have to wear a diaper her entire life, but it moves me to tears to think of what we went through; every time I hold her I just fall apart.

My son and daughter in law still have about $36,000 in debt for medical but they took out a second mortgage and are chipping away at it. Small price to pay for the life of a child.

So good to see that smiling face. Prayers for her healthy body tonight. You made my day with this and brought a big smile to my face.

I kinda forgot about this little ones fight. Im glad you made this post as it is a miracle indeed! Im very happy that you will get to continue to hold those grand daughters for a long time. This seems like the perfect cause to be put on the "Go fund me" page.
