Heard today on XM stock channel that last month the demand for gasoline in the US was at a 20 year low. That ought to cure global warming a little.

Don’t worry the coal burnt to power the battery operated cars will make up for it.

Well, I burned my share. Work requires it. Given the choice, I would have cut back. She's been an expensive summer to work!

Just saw a breakdown of US inflation by commodity. There were about twenty categories of items we purchase. Every category but one was up. Energy was down .4 %, which isn’t much. The average was + 3.7%,I think. Food was up very much.

Maybe working from home has a small impact on energy consumption. I am not qualified to state facts.

A natural part of the free market. Biden should have kept the oil in the SPR and let it happen sooner.

There is no free market in the oil business because opec members collude to fix the price of oil.

Hard to believe the demand for gasoline is lower than in 2020?

We can't control what opec does, only what we do.

Actually Trump threatened Saudis and opec into a huge production cut in 2020.

Trump wouldn't know what a free market is either.

If there actually was any correlation between temperature and gasoline consumption.

Of bigger conern to me, being in wood business and dealing with local mills. Pallet sales, including skids for machinery was slowing fast, weeks before any UAW strikes were talked about.
I just laid off my two pallet rebuilders, a side business. Buying used pallets for $3 each, repairing them and selling for $7 each. We keep enough for our bagged mulch.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!
