Best Baits for DP Traps ? Thank you

I like cat food ...sometimes I spice it up leftover cereal some kool-aid packets little marshmallows if there s some stale ones in the cabinet I make it by the 5 gallon bucket

I like miniature marshmallows. Scatter a few on the ground next to the trap.

I like a regular size marshmallow under the trigger, and one smeared with something sweet smelling stuffed in the top.

The set the trap ON sign. That's far more important than what is in the trap.

Catfood trail mix mixture on the bottom by the trigger and a marshmallow on top of that inside the trap

There are as many answers as there are trappers to this question. The best I have ever used is ADC's Barnes' Cherry Bend-Over Raccoon Bait. Its a sticky fish based preserved bait that works great all season long.

I've had excellent results with that bait too. Is it available again?

Yes sir. I have a fresh batch of a few gallons available by week's end.

Cheap dry cat food

marshmellows ,strawberry jello, vanilla extract/ flavoring.... put in gallon bag shake use as needed

I use everything dry inside the DP , put used fish frying oil around it for attraction.
Traps never need cleaning on the inside.
