In a far-away land is a block of marble that is one mile wide X one mile long X one mile deep (1 cubic mile).
Every thousand years a sparrow lands on this block and cleans his beak.
When the block is thus worn away, the first day of eternity will have just begun.

Not very good oral hygiene........

A friend of mine who is now with the Lord said a way to define eternity is:
If an angel came down from heaven and dropped one grain of sand every thousand years on a city the size of Minneapolis, by the time the city would be fully covered, eternity would just be getting started.

Eternity has its hiccups , just like infinity. If there is such a thing as eternity, then everything has already happened and everything will happen again ...its just a matter of time and everything will repeat itself. That would go against the principles of thermo dynamics. Entropy in that case would be a non starter

Eternity is simply the absence of time. Time and space are human concepts.

God deal in eternity man deals in time.
