It is all over the place here...saw 3.69 at most pumps then out of the blue a 4.19 then a 3.09???

I guess the price changes with every truckload of gas. Diesel is steady at 4.19

I talked to a guy that is spending $1000 a month driving his diesel pickup 80 miles to and from work.

Gas $3.29 here, $2.86 20 miles away at son's house.

Price usually goes up as my fuel gauge drops, then falls soon as I fill.up, lol

How can you feel sorry for someone driving a truck that only get 6+ miles per gallon. He could easily cut his fuel costs by buying something that gets better mileage. He could easily make the payments on a car or pickup that gets 18-20 MPG

Gas is $3.20 in my area for the last week. Lowest it's been in a long time.

You lost me at make the payments. You also have to consider insurance on a second vehicle, maintantence etc. He has that diesel truck for a reason I am sure. And by the way, most diesel trucks these days get 18-20 MPG. Or more.

Benn in the high 3.20s here for some time. No increase today. Predictions were for a price decrease this fall but Middle East tensions might halt any decline.

I drive 80 miles a day total back and forth to work. I paid $1600 for my commuter car (99 civic), and put in another $1000ish into it to get it where I wanted it. I get 37-40mpg and have no payments. I know people that refuse to drive a tiny car to commute because their truck is "manly" or some stupid reason like that. They're dumb.

Price was about a $1.50 a gallon in Luxor, Egypt last week. About $8 a gallon in Greece. Good thing I got good mileage in Greece.

$200 barrel, the world economy would grind to a halt. Won't happen, 60% of this country would be broke in a month. The Saudis want it high but not that high.
