When trapping open a war will begin. I've not started fishing my crayfish pond. Infact just finished filling it and looks like there's a bunch of otters already there each night. Toilets all over the levees. They got me steaming mad. Snares, foothold, conibears all gonna be weapons of mass distruction. I have 2 dozen mb 550s tuned, 6 big conis and about 20 snares ready to go. I'm itching to kill. Wish me luck and say a prayer for a bunch of otters
BTW, yotes and bobcats thicker than I've ever seen them, also have a few deer now I'm feeding at pond. Deer are for viewing pleasure only. I don't eat deer meat so I'll likely reframe from killing another deer in my life remaining
Hope this finds you all blessed and doing well. I'm OK for now besides being ticked off with otters, oh yea, coons to gonna die. Like alot of coons. They eating my deer corn

Edit, on a side note I've been camping past 2 weekends, spotted 3 Bigfoot and was visited by aliens one night

Can you trap them early for destroying your property?

Had this problem last year everyday I would have one row out of ten that was still standing. I found a revised statute that says if there destroying crawfish you can trap out of season but I couldn’t find anything with ldwf . I can send you the r.s. Number later if you want to call ldwf and find out more about it

Those ain't otters, that's the extraterrestrial service crew checking to see if the chip under your skin is functioning properly. They just happen to like mud bugs.

I talked to wildlife and fisheries. No go until it opens
I don't sell crayfish. Give away what we can't eat or store in freezer.
Otters live the life of Riley around here

Nebraska introduced otters a number of years ago. Now they're a problem. There are more otters in the Niobrara than there are beaver, as well as tributary streams. I had 5 otters molest my beaver traps in one night so I had to stop trapping. Now NGPC has an otter season. One otter per year. No relief.
