Got an old propane heater are they worth keeping or throw out. It is in an old tar paper shack that need to be taken out. It must have heated a two room shack in the later years when modern things came about.

If it’s old and works I’d keep it, old stuff to me is cool working or not. Picture of it would help. I heat my fur shed with a kerosene heater we had when I was a kid back in the early 80’s. Kerosene not the cheapest but I don’t use it much and kinda like the smell when you first start it, kinda like a wood stove.

I'm heading to the ranch today so will get it out than. Maybe someone could use it for an ice shanty or small workshop area.

Make sure ti have enough ventilation if using it. Carbon monoxide is a silent odorless very real killer.

Was there any sign of dead bodies of the former occupants present. Some of those propane heaters can be deadly if not kept in good working order.

Most of the indoor ones have o2 sensors now I’m not sure about the older ones.
