If you’re setting on sign I don’t think it’s necessary for coon and you can use the time more productively elsewhere. You can bait the area a week earlier to get them to come to a spot.

Ask any deer hunters that bait for deer. Coon are thick at those feeders. Pre baiting can up your numbers if done right.

It's a big waste of money, time and effort. Especially in this market. Spend that time finding more locations where the coons are already going. Can’t ever argue with this guy keep your money in your pocket for gas

It's Illegal to pre bait your sets In WI. A dead deer In the woods Is pretty natural. But a pile of fish or something that's not natural to the area may get the wardens attention.
