Any one use it? Looks slick. Thinking about ordering one.

I have seen it sort of interesting

I don't break up the rib cage and I have been cutting around the anus and pulling it through for a while and have a saw if I really did want to break the pelvic

then I saw the price 99.99

so I have to ask the question what is 2.5 minutes of my time worth field dressing a couple deer a year especially after I taught my son to do his own.

and my luck I would forget it at the truck

even at my overtime rate (which I never pay myself) I had to pass on that purchase but I would be interested to see how it holds up for people.

for the much more reasonable price of 9.95 Weibe has a nice tool that is handy for skinning
https://www.wiebeknives.com/products/wiebe-zipper-knife?variant=21179347201
or just the 5 pack of blades for 1.95
and I still forget that in the truck half the time and just use my knife

I had never heard of it so I found it on-line. If it works as advertised it would be a neat gimmick to have. Personally I don't have any trouble with a knife so I wouldn't spend $100 on one.

Don't waste your money. Got one tried it. Got laughed at lol. Haven't used it since. Was arckward to use. Certainly didn't open up the chest cavity like the video. Maybe it was me. Always liked to open them up to cool them down. went back to a gut hook and knife with a small saw blade on it. I do like the
butt out. Its a tool to remove the butt without splitting the bone. Keeps the groin area intact. Doesn't open it up and expose it to dirt and leaves when I drag out.

that is just it , it is a 100 dollar specialty tool to do a job that doesn't take long minutes a couple maybe a few times a year

I watched their demo video for it they did a small doe , I would like to see it on a large buck that has been around a few more years and doesn't have such soft bones

think of all the thousands of Kitchen gadgets marketed to the masses
and when you learn from a pro how they do it , you realize 95% of them are a solution looking for a problem.

when they do it it is fast and efficient and safe through technique using minimal special tools and everything has multiple uses
3-4 knives some forks spoons maybe a rolling pin , box grater , vegetable peeler and some linens they can make amazing things happen.
the only time they get into special tools much is when it comes to production work making massive amounts of something.

I agree, the butt out is the way to go. I tried one for the first time this week and it sure was slick.

This thing is for the guys that can't stop busting the stomach when opening the deer

Butt out tool... If you process your own deer, I wouldn't even worry about taking it out unless you're letting it hang for a while

you can grab the colon as far up in the pelvis as you can reach squeeze the poo forward then cut it off , if you wanted tie a knot in it then there really isn't anything to get on the meat while you drag the deer out

if you don't drag out but quarter and carry then still not an issue go gutless and do the reach in for the tender loins.

If it does indeed work, field dressing deer is tough on any blade. I cannot see how it would be possible to sharpen those inward facing curved blades. That Ron Popeil, RonCo pocket fishing pole add on "Wait-there's-more." knife sharpener they include sure ain't gonna do it.

I don't cut open chests or even gut anymore, I can skin and bone out a fresh killed deer in 20 ,30 minutes with a 2" pocket knife. No need to work any harder than you have to.
