Reading an article today that claims the reason for disappearance of the snow crab was that they starved due to lack of food caused by warm water. It also mentioned that because the water was warmer that cod could move into them and feed on them:

If this is the case then there was an under harvest to protect the snow crab which caused an overpopulation and not enough food for them survive? What do you think?

They blame the climate change hoax for the disappearance of salmon here on the Yukon River, even though there are record runs of salmon north and south of us.

IMO they are running cover for the trawl fleet that is plowing through certain areas causing destruction of the resource for the sake of a fillet-o-fish sandwich.

Baseline numbers have been confirmed to be wrong in the SEAK escapement of king salmon from the Taku. We have been getting hosed by ADFG for quite a long time.
