A few days ago I watched groneys fur talk he was giving at the Wisconsin convention. He mentioned that the hatter market is being fueled by the cowboy hat crowd AND hats that the Jewish folks wear. Unfortunately, we are painfully aware of the situation in Israel now. Again, this is just my personal opinion and just something that crossed my mind . We as trappers understand how volatile the fur market is right now,, and how even a tiny hiccup now could mean trouble Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last. We have problems here with homeless vets and problems with the VA, open border with an influx of undocumented, unvetted immigration and drugs killing those dumb enough to imbibe, yet we are giving billions to countries that generally hate us! And to be clear, it’s not just this inept administration, it’s been going on for decades!

They're still actively buying sable and marten tails here for shtreimels, despite the war. They probably bypass sanctions by importing through another country like Turkey or Azerbaijan (many fur buyers nowadays seem to be muslim), anyhow almost all sable/marten tails end up in Israel. Only one way for the beaver market to go, might get another year out of it but imagine by next spring it will be back to normal, 2.00 for green southern beaver, 10 bucks for 90 lb put up northern beaver. Not my circus, not my clowns.
