I'm pretty sure this question has been answered a million times. I have some Carmen's pro-mix coyote and fox urine. It's two years old and smells heavily of ammonia, I left the lids off overnight and plan on leaving them off a few days, will it still be okay to use? Thanks

Ammonia is a natural bioproduct of the breakdown of urea in the urine, In the bottle that long with would of had a lot of time to break down.. The smell you dont want is sewage smell. Though you can probably get some canines to roll on spoiled urine.

I've got some I collected myself that's 2 years old. It might have a slight ammonia odor if u look for it but by far the dominant odor is coyote.

All contained aged urine will develop an ammonia odor over time. It is just the composition of the material. If it didn't have that odor I would be concerned. If the urine was weak or watered down to begin with then the ammonia odor would be negligible or nonexistent. I would not hesitate to use it.

Contaminated urine will continue to develop bacteria over time and the urine odor will take on an odd and soured smell.
