You're probably right....under the pretext of going to war to defend Israel, which I would support. However, I doubt that would be the actual motive.

They just want a war to make $. Putin did not take the bait so here we are.

Hamas isn't fighting for a Palestine state their goal is the total annihilation of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel.

Exactly. Some of these guys seem rather cavalier about nine or ten million people being wiped off the face of the earth. I have more affinity to the Jewish people than I do these guys.

Israel is in a catch 22 regardless. What they do and are doing is the best approach. They are surrounded by jihadists and will always be attacked. The only thing can do is fight back. If they don't fight back then the promise land is held by Muslims and everything cherished and sacred to Jews Christians and Catholics is gone until the 2nd coming. If Israel attacks first then other countries would get more involved so all they can do is defend themselves and do their best to keep the peace.

There was a reporter who got audio of interrogation of a hamas soldier and he (the soldier) couldn't believe what had occurred that started this war. He was saying hamas was acting like rabid animals to the women children and grandma's because the leader commanded them to even though it goes against the Koran. If they didn't they would be dispatched or tortured first.

If you forcefully create your utopia in a land full of hostiles, what do you expect? Why do you think most of the Jews that fled the Nazis went to Briton and the U.S?
