To me looks like old dried our Oysters. All my hen of the woods have been on the ground, and all the oysters have been growing out of wood

It’s 100 percent chicken of the woods,,, and wayyy past prime….. if you can remember that spot,, come back next spring or fall,,, there is a pretty good chance of there being another flush of yummies.
Sometimes they might miss a year…. And of course depending on rain.
