Linders Angling Edge on Facebook claims this fish picture is genuine and points to the one in that video to verify their existence.

Im trying to get confirmation on who actually caught it. All I know is it was supposedly caught in the Crow Wing River in the last week.

I called BS as soon as I saw it. It just doesn't look "real" to me.

I have nothing clever to put here.

The video is from last year, and the other pic is from last week??????? From the Lindner crew. Seems odd

In the Linder video the fish is clearly alive. In the picture the fish appears to have been dead for quite some time. Where is MNMAN when you need him? He was alive when fish were invented.

I have nothing clever to put here.

They don't claim its the same fish as the video, just a very similar color pattern to it....

Patzski's Balls of Fire were likely pink because they had astaxanthin in them. Astaxanthin is commonly put in fish food and makes the flesh of fish that eat it pink. The fish you caught was likely a hatchery raised fish fed feed with astaxanthin in it. Europeans in particular like pink fleshed trout.

This was in a lake of stocked rainbows, they all have white flesh for the first several months, until they've been on a more natural diet of scuds and crayfish. However, the fish I was talking about was hot pink throughout. The Patzski's had literally stained the fish from the inside out.

Yes, long before fish were invented. That one is an oddity for sure and I believe it was a genetic freak. Looks real enough for me.
