Dstone1992 OP trapper D Joined: Jan 2021 MO	I have read alot on here of their population decline in areas. Correct me if I am wrong but is most people's consensus that coyotes are to blame? I caught a Ton of yotes last year in the area of course they are moving back in but, the cats are thick this year and now this grey showed up.

jalstat trapper J Joined: Dec 2022 illinois	I’m in southwest Montgomery county Illinois used to catch a good many in 70’s and early 80’s but since the coyotes took over the last one I caught was over 30 years ago.

Down here it is brushy enough they can hold their own, I still get a lot of greys chewed on and killed in the trap. What"s good for me may not be good for the weak minded.
