guys how about, get active in your state group, and become a director, to the nta, and be a director that does something, not just sit there and do nothing, ask questions, look into stuff, ask why ? and don't settle for a simple answer? that's what we need people who are willing to do their job as director, we have some good ones and we need more to help them out,

Roy, i don't think you understand what they did to the bylaws, that board doesn't have a say in much of anything but even if they still had the old bylaws it's pretty much just a bunch of bobbing heads bored to death cause NONE of us like meetings! Plus you got to be a member to be a director.

What FTA said in 1968 i belive it was. Got Sportsmans Alliance also. Just seems if you put a bunch of trappers together running anything it always ends up in the same place! Isn't like many in the past got fed up got involved and worked to change things in the NTA and did make positive changes along the way yet it still for whatever reason ends right back up in the same spot it was 40 years ago!

THE NTA has been the back bone of all the anti fur

legislation in the past, the FTA is a great organization, but

in the past they have not lived up to the up front money spent

help for our needs in the political field

So, because of this up roar , alot of money will be lost.

I am unsure what to think myself, what to do and what to think ?

You obviously aren't up to date on the doings by the FTA. They can and do the job better these days. Get up with the folks involved in the NM action. Dave Hastings and the FTA were front and center immediately. I talked with Travis C about this very subject. He had nothing but praise for how the FTA jumped right in.

Buzz how many states has NTA saved from losing or severely getting their trapping rights restricted in the last 25 years? How many states who lost their rights was NTA able to get them back in that time period or 30 years even? So how is it money lost?
