We've had snow since late September and it won't leave till the end of April, I love winter

Lots of snow here and making a tough for hunting now. Last year on this day we had no snow and things were green.

Looks like it’s here to stay.

Yep makes it tough for trapping but I still wouldn't live anyplace else.

Our weather here is similar to 2017 so far.
Snow and ice makes trapping easier here.
Ice is nice.

Snowy, you did get a nice amount. That much and more is in the high country here, though in the valleys, it is a couple inches. Love it all.

Here are a couple from my mountains . This evening, much more is due to add to this. Even some rain in the more southerly regions.

We don't have that much but 5 inches of heavy wet snow on Halloween is rare and puts a wrench in a lot of things. Our typical date here for first snow that shows up on the ground is about November 16th, so we are a couple weeks early this year.
