I will second Alaska's Wolfman. One of the best Alaskan trapping books. I would also include Shadows on the Koyukuk by Sidney Huntington. I used to buy fur from his brother. Good trappers.

I'll second this recommendation. The saga takes place right where I lived and worked. I know virtually all the people. Its a very good depiction of the living conditions over there, although I enjoyed my time with those folks.
