I tried searching the forum for an answer but was unsuccessful. I have some #5 BLS that I want to add PIT pans to. After looking at the bracket, I'm wondering if I need to knock the original pan post out for the crimp on PIT bracket to fit. I would guess the nipple that faces upward on the crimp-on would slip into the old pan post slot. Advice on this would be appreciated.
