First glance I was going to say otter, but I don't think they are that long?? What about sea otter? They are much bigger than river otters.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

I have no experience with a badger skull but have cleaned a number of river otter. The one in the OP may be a river otter but I am not convinced. It is about the right size but just looks a little off to me but I could be wrong. The angle on the canine teeth is one of the things that just does not look right to me. This is a river otter that measures 4 5/8" overall length.

Boco had 'em correct. Top 3 are River otter (Lontra canadensis) and bottom 2 are striped skunk (Mephitis mephitis)
