I figured these Alaska shows were played out. Last Alaskans was canceled a few years ago, I just heard that Life Below Zero canceled all their offshoot shows and will be just doing the one. The producer from The Last Alaskans was working on another show but the networks kept backing out at the last minute, I believe he shelved the show and will be working on a writing a book instead.

Two of my buddies were out there hunting elk and ran into that guy. He said not every thing gets filmed.

Marty & Heimo we’re at the NTA convention. Great guys. I don’t think they really give a crap if there’s a camera crew around or not.

Sounds like they will be making a “Life Below Zero, First Alaskans” third season. The second season released this summer

but what he shows and preaches is Goofed up

Pretty sure camera crews make Marty and Heimo's trapping season more profitable.
I was working for Hageland Aviation in Nome when some of the flying wild Alaska episodes were filmed. BS and drama were always added to make the show more saleable.

That Sucks about the added Drama

Documentaries do not make much money, add some drama and people even in the cities will watch. If geared toward just trappers, that's a pretty small market share.

Yep^^^ o the dogs will run them off and problem is over. We know it's bunk but tons of people will believe it. After all opossum rat ticks better not kill them..

Probably don't film any killing so as not to stir up the antis that might watch the show.
