snowy OP trapper S Joined: Dec 2011 MT	I have one that was bought in ~ 1970 0r 71. I was wondering if Browning still makes a .243 lever action. I can't seem to come up with the answer I'm trying to find. Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

My son used it for hunting one season and yes it fell out and was lost. I did manage to find one but that has been 20 years ago now. They can fall out easily and I would imagine they are harder to find now and expensive like you said. Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

I guess even back 20 years ago I was lucky to find one. I don't even keep that clip in the gun I have it stored in a cabinet I use for archery and gun related items. After you told me that I went, and locker taped it and wrote on tape what it was for and place it back in the cabinet carefully. Give me a fish, I will eat for a day.
