Very happy boy!!! 2 huge nest raiders dead. He found the coon trail and made the sets himself. Both were females. 29 and 26 pounds. Almost 2 inches of fat on them!!!

When our water sets started to freeze up we rolled with it and set what the boy found.

That boy's smile warms my heart and makes me think there may be hope after all.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I did a beaver demo 3 years ago for a group of home schooled kids. He asked a LOT of questions. Best one was if he could come trapping with me. He was 7 at the time. I had just met him and his mother. I told him it's up to his mom. She said without hesitation, ABSOLUTELY. He has been my shadow ever since.

I believe I need your/his contact info. I have some traps I am tired of tripping over. Please send me a PM with either yours or his mailing info. I have tried to get some kids into trapping and failed. Maybe this one will work out.

dakidsmn-It's folks like you that will keep trapping alive. Nicely done!

Attaboy, 160! That is the spirit!

That first picture belongs on the cover of a magazine!

Warms my heart and boosts my spirits.

There's enough hide on that coon to make that boy a trench coat!
