Has anyone here played with creating realistic synthetic deer urine?

No, but we have always had access to the real material there was no need to develop it. However, with some DNR's coming restrictions, there may be a need to do such a thing for the future. There is talk and action being taken now to stop the use of authentic deer urine due to potential disease transmission which I question.

What about what's out there now?

More synthetics used than what most will admit to would be my guess. Cheaper and more available.

There may be a market for synthetic deer urine, but not using my money.

Would trappers use synthetic fox, coyote, or bcat urine?

That’s the only type of deer lure we can use in VT is synthetic.

The synthetic is not as good as the real stuff. I can't make my real deer scents anymore in my state or I would still be making real instead of fake.
