We just received an email notification of a 6.3% rate increase beginning Dec. 3rd, 2023. I understand a new contract was reached with pay increases for all in the network.

Somebody on here said pirate shipping was the way to go and they will get you a better rate from USPO and UPS impressive discounts they were right.

Not surprising UPS are going up. Happens every year, usually in January. Doing it early this year to take advantage of the holiday shipping season.

Anyone know can you use media mail/book rate with Pirate Ship? You cannot with USPS click and ship.

The problem with USPS is that inefficiency is in their DNA.

I have been using Pirate Ship for the last year. It has been a good choice for our company. They have saved us $$. We had a UPS account for many years. They were over charging us on every shipment which we didn't realize how much until we dropped them. With Pirate Ship you can choose UPS or USPS and they give you the cost comparison to decide which shipper you want.

It is always more economical to ship USPS on most all smaller size and weight packages. Heavier packages UPS is the only carrier to choose. USPS is double the rate on heavy packages.

66 cents to mail a letter then next week it .75 then in two weeks it's 1.50. When is this going to stop.

You can ship Media Mail with Pirate ship but there isn’t a discount. You pay full Media mail rate.

The media mail option is hidden, so you have to know where to look for it.

Also, insurance is not included in pirate ship Media Mail. Can be purchased separately

2 bills every month are also mailed.

The USPO would waste $100 in time and money to fight a $20 claim that they caused 100% and refuse to stand behind the screw up. They bring the problems on themselves with bureaucratic rules.

I mail several bills every month. Everyone has to be paid more money for worst service, whole system is going to collapse soon then it won't matter.
