Anyone use them?
I always use one during the rut, I stepped out of my workshop yesterday morning with the bow and the shooter 10 I'm after was in my immediate yard and casually skipped away. He came in behind me 1 hour later, picked up my dragline scent and followed it right to the workshop- he then stared at the door for about 30 seconds- I know you're in there lol. I had the drag hanging in the tree by my stand but he followed it like a bloodhound right to where it started.

I've had success with using a drag and a good lure on it. Not every buck will follow the scent but enough do to make it worthwhile.

Here's an older video on how I like to do it.

I've had it work a few times. I had a buck trail me right to my stand. Couldn't do much about it, it was before daylight.

I have used this method, I use an old wash cloth soaked in doe in heat urine. Hang it near where you are going to sit. sit down wind I keep my rag in a small glass jar, when not in use .Bucks will come in with nose to the ground. It works. old 243.

Considering how the last buck a 120" or So I passed acted when he hit the trail I walked in on going to instantly alert mode I wondered if the smell they are looking for overrides their self preservation instinct being mixed with my sent trail?

More important, which brand lure are you using for that kind of response?
