They just turned on here last night and today. The next few days should be pretty exciting.

I have nothing clever to put here.

saw 2 yesterday chasing does and not letting them out of sight - this weekend, 100s of thousands will be harvested in Missouri. Mid 50's and no rain will equal a large harvest during rut

Spent 90% of the day in stand here and saw one doe in the field just before dark. The last few days here have been…..crickets. I’m sure hoping something cruises by tomorrow so I can get some other stuff done before winter hits! Happy trapping! ScottW

Rode through the property a little later than I wanted this evening and saw several bucks with does and it was hot. It’s gonna be wet in the morning with some wind and temps only getting in the 60’s. Deer should be moving good in the morning. And on top of that a buck I haven’t seen in a month showed up at my lock on shortly after sunset to harass the does. I was debating on where to sit…he made my mind up for me.

Older bucks were moving great from about Oct 25_ Nov 5th.
Young buck now are really moving hard.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Rut is slowing here, great time to catch a mature buck cruising in between does. Had a mature 9pt cruising today at 1130, combination grunt and doe-in-heat can call and he turned on a dime. When they are with a doe, I cant change their channel no matter what I try. Good time to be in the woods
