My now deceased (he passed in Feb 15 2023) father in law served for a year on the front lines during the Korean war . He never did say much about it But he would talk about how bitter cold it was He was a better man than I ever hoped to be or could have been The world he lived in was better due to his desire to help those that he could help He lived thru some terrible conditions and difficult times BUT he had a positive attitude and a kind and giving nature I am lucky to have known him f for 46 years And will say he would say what he did was no big deal like most others that that defended this country ..But the real story is they are the reason this country still exists
