It's a cinch, not a single kid in SD was or would be offended. They are way more concerned about triggering some basement dweller in San Fracisco or New York.

If you guys don't think there are liberal areas in SD think again.
Rapid City is a bit of a craphole IMHO.

Oh, no doubt, but anyone visiting the national guard booth ain't likely to be part of the lib crowd, based on the latest statistics of who is considering the armed forces. Less than a 2% chance, in fact.

I don't know, I saw what looked like junior ( high school age) AF ROTC kids walking around with what looked like rifles today but that was in one of Soo Foo's "suburbs". I still drive around with uncased long guns in my front seat if I'm going hunting or trapping, although haven't been stopped by a LEO in such a situation in a long, long time so don't know how they would react nowadays.
