I actually just read similar stories about MN and WI. People would rather "game" than hunt.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I asked her if she liked to cook. She said "Ive never really had the need to". I was speechless.

Back in the day a fella would nail 2x4s to a tree for steps and a chunk of 2x12 up in the tree to sit on. Now it's ladder stands and the plastic precast shelter blinds, elevated blinds etc. People used to hunt to put meat on the table. Now it's a sport that involves a side by side to get to the stand. I visited with a guy last week that was with a group of 10 that had drove to NE from PA to hunt with an outfitter. I looked up the outfitter and he starts at just under $6000 per hunt for whitetail. One of them was a he/she with a man bun, long hair and skinny jeans

I got a call from school that my grandson had an unexcused absence for the past 3 days. I could have told them that being he rode with me to the deer woods !

No work on their part = pay someone else to do it for you
