when you realize some of the top hunting states for deer #s were or are firearms restricted states OH , MI, WI , IA ,IL , IN all turning in large numbers of deer hunters and kills the slug and muzzle loader also because I grouped all slugs together although 12ga is most popular by far at 19 by it's self and I grouped all the muzzle loaders together although 50 s most common
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

#1, Savage 110 30-06 I saved my money and bought 30 years ago. Over 60 kills is a guess.
#2 Savage 110 7mm Rem Mag. "beanfield" set up. 50 plus, a guess.
#3, Ruger Super blackhawk, 44 Mag. 3 kills.
Would love to get one with a bow muzzleloader and my AK variant

7 mag and now I use a Crossbow but used to hunt with a Compound. That 700 & mag has really taken a lot of Big Game.
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

In the beginning starting in 1980:
12 ga single barrel 00 buckshot...
..then a 30-30 Marlin..
..then a Rem Model 7 .243..
..now a Rem Model 7 7mm-08.
There have been many dozens of deer kills(and feral hogs) mixed in those years with a bow too...PSE, then Mathews..

We recently allowed pistol caliber rifles, but, I haven’t pulled the trigger on one of those yet.
Plan to get .300 win mag or .30-06 in the future for out of state firearms.
